Great news from the NTA which will result in huge savings for commuters in a newly expanded Dublin City Zone.

New fare caps and tickets for Leap Card users are set to be introduced later this year, applicable to all PSO public transport services within the Dublin City Zone.

The updated pricing includes a reduced daily fare cap of €6, a weekly cap set at €24, and the introduction of a new monthly Leap ticket priced at €96, along with an annual ticket at €960.

The weekly cap of €24 represents a 25% savings for residents in the City Zone, compared to the current €32 cap.
